We have an apple tree in our garden. It regularly provides a bumper crop every other year for some reason. 2021 was a great year, last year was just OK. This year we have a mass of blossom once more so, bad weather permitting, it could be a good harvest again this year. It's a grafted tree with a couple of varieties one of which is dominant but I can no longer remember what they are!
We had 3 apple trees in our yard. While the blossoms were beautiful...the apples were not. The trees came with the house when we bought it and no one had bothered to spray ( including us) hence most apples were infested with worms. Since the tress were close to the pool, you can imagine the number of apples that would land in the pool. To remedy that....apples trees went bye bye. As you can tell Peter, I am not much of "green thumb". But your blossoms and captures are beautiful.
