Friday Indoors - The Hallway and the Eye

The hotel hallways were dimly lit, in keeping with its pride in its long history.  It looked a lot like this 100 years ago.  Guests have reported seeing ghostly children in this hallway, strange sounds, and blue orbs floating in the air.

Here's a closeup of the painting at the end of the hall:

    1. I agree! The manager said once an alarmed guest had called the front desk to report twin girls in matching dresses standing at the end of the hallway. It turned out that those particular girls were on their way to a wedding with their family. :-)

  2. Reminds me of the Wort Hotel in Jackson, WY. Creepy, creaky, dark - I loved it!

    1. I just looked at their website. It looks cool, with a lot of history. My shots (and some others this week) were from the Read House in Chattanooga.

    1. Yes, we've stayed there twice now. It's a nice 4-star hotel, and quite historic. Folks like Ulysses S. Grant, Winston Churchill, Al Capone, Elvis, and Oprah have stayed there. They've given up trying to dodge their reputation for being haunted; now they've officially made it part of their vibe.
