Joseph Zinc gave us permission to play with his aquarium fish and edit it as we like. I loved the colors of his post, hence I did not make any changes to his colors. Instead I tried to make the fish become more the star of the photo by blurring the background and intensifying its colors. All edits where done in Ps.
Thanks Joseph for the play time 😉
I really like your edit! Blurring the background helps alot..I was thinking of a solid color, but the gradient adds depth that I like. Regarding the fishes color, Is that a saturation and contrast edit? Again, nice effect.
ReplyDeleteJoseph I did this in the camera raw filter of Ps which is also available in Lr as masks. You can now separate the background from the subject and add whatever you want. In this case I separated the fish and added clarity/exposure/some texture. Then I picked up the background and added blur. Eventhough this was not a raw file I can still use the "camera raw filter" in ps and do whatever "my heart desires. :) Thanks for the play!
ReplyDeleteI like it, Camellia - the fish really stands out, for sure. I'm posting my edit now.
ReplyDeleteGood edit!
