Memories of a Spring Day in Maine
On
one of our (mostly) annual vacations in Maine, we were just outside
Southwest Harbor (I believe) and stopped to look at this dock. It was at
a time of day when it was relatively void of people, but fully blue sky
and sunshine. Some of my oldest child's engagement photos were taken
here.

Sunset behind the pine tree
Always chasing the sunsets (sunrises are just too early). I try to walk or notice on drives, the colors, the clouds, and the sun position at sunset. I didn't quite position the sun exactly behind the trunk - but I think that would have hidden it too much. I like the way the sun shines through the branches.

Looks like a lovely place - I can see why you enjoy vacationing there so much.
