I have cropped this down from a larger image from around 5 years ago,basically a holiday snap. It was only when we were back home that I figured I missed a chance to make more of the small red boat. Need to open my eyes more sometimes!
Beautiful scene. Not something you would find around here. I hear you loud and clear when you say "open your eyes more"...so many times I've come home and seen something in a photo I captured that I had not seen while at the site.....and then it's too late ☹
I've just started to do a 5 minute "look around" before I push the shutter button for the first time when I'm out shooting. Still missing nice details sometimes, but getting better. In any event, I like this photo, and agree with Peter, could be a delightful watercolor.
