It actually was a very un-abandoned building. It was once a large factory that's been turned into a mixed-use complex. This was one of the spaces that was being renovated. I agree with you about going into abandoned buildings, though I've seen some nice shots that others have done.
Love the mood. Takes me back to my days working (cough!) construction in building like that. Such growth and learning!
