These photos were shot with a cell phone as I sat on the complimentary shuttle service transport provided by the hotel. There was a traffic jam and I took the opportunity to snap them.
The employee was clearing the fallen leaves and making the restaurant neat and tidy before it was opened for business. The red coloured tables and chairs caught my eye.
The coloured ballons could be a congratulation gift for the new opening of the shop/business. It looked like kind of new to be chucked away as trash. No idea if the gentleman was the one who had delivered the ballons, or delivering the parcels while waiting for the shop to be opened or simply a passer-by waiting for a motorcycle-taxi but he fitted in nicely with the background to make the ballon colors popped out.
Those scenes look very familiar
ReplyDeleteI was sure that you would have recognized the place, too - Bangkok, Thailand.
DeleteYeap
DeleteA true definition of color in both instances. Those tables and chairs are so shinny. What I really like is the reflections on the window in #1...adds another dimension to the entire scene. Nice catch.
ReplyDeleteThanks Camellia. Yes, the red strikes out as it was very sunny outside.
DeleteYou always find such interesting scenes, Nancy, and the color just adds to it.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tom for your comment and encouragement... I really appreciate it.
DeleteAs much as I love the dark, stark simple contrasts it's nice to see the bright busy ones, too. Good to know they exist and that they are such a large part of a culture. Gotta love variety! Interesting that in the second image there is a large bag of botox culture - I have a niece in Alabama who would love to get her hands on that!
ReplyDeleteSo you have noticed the botox, too!!
