Lake Superior sea caves trip

 A day trip to Bayfield Wisconsin, and  the The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore area along the Lake Superior shoreline.  There are 21 islands that  make up the chain. Most of the islands have exposed sandstone shorelines that have been subject to the weather and waves for millenia, and in several places the erosion of the shorelines over time  has produced open caves along the coast. If you decide to go, bring a rain jacket and an extra hoodie because the weather can change rapidly as storms move across the lake.
