Monday: Closeup - Colorful dead tree

In the park across the street there's a dead tree next to the path.  The top and the branches have been removed, so it's just a 10-foot stump leaning away from the path.  Stump or not, it's got the most colorful bark of any tree in the park.

1/100, f/5.6, 320 ISO, 55mm, full frame.  I brightened it up a little and increased the contrast a bit, that's all.

  1. What's great is, that in addition to the neat colors/textures, you didn't have to adjust the exposure. I love the fact that rarely do I do that these days with close up images.
