Great image! So much better composition when you show the texture of the sepals as well as the color of the petals. I'm trying to teach some folks to better use the cell phone camera, especially using the portrait mode, for things like flowers. And sunflowers are just the best - I planted some this year in a container and have been making a series as they develop. Can't wait for the bloom and, eventually, the fade, too.
I'm looking forward to that series. As I said to Camellia, sunflowers can be photogenic at any stage of their lives. I hadn't thought of using portrait mode for flowers, so I'll be checking that out.
