Cool captures, love the detail, They must have been thirsty or Hungry
ReplyDeleteThey have to feed every 15-20 minutes in order to maintain their extremely high metabolism.
DeleteGreat sequence! Looks like nobody gets a quiet lunch at your feeder. The bottom slice of the last shot looks cool, with the line of hummingbird tails showing under the feeder.
ReplyDeleteThanks! These are a few of the hundred of so I shot within 15 minutes. Funny thing is, I have five feeders up, but when it rains, they tend to gang up on the two just under the pergola overhang.
DeleteVery nice series of photos. They sure keep you busy.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm making and dispensing a gallon of nectar a day right now. And there are only 8 full time residents and 2-4 "drive by" visitors. I may have to break out the 1 quart feeders sooner than migration this year!
DeleteWell done John. You are busy with your extended family
ReplyDeleteCertainly a nice little sequence
ReplyDeleteCaught in action!
