Friday morning, 4:30am - another severe thunderstorm, 1100 lightening strikes/hour (cloud-to-cloud), 2 inches of rain/hour. I was trying to catch a nifty "zig zag" cloud-to-ground, but it was all in the clouds. So, a 1 minute 51 second exposure looks like this. RAW converted to JPEG without editing. Lost power for about 2 hours and, 10 hours later, another screamer just like this one only with 60mph straight line winds. Livin' the life in Fayette County!

    1. Thankfully, all is quiet for the near future - we go through periods like this. That's life in the MidSouth!
