Drove by this barn, looking for sunflower fields. The whitewash against the blue sky grabbed my attention, hence stopped to take a photo.

Did very little editing, at first, and then I decided to play with the colors and came up with the one below.
I liked both versions, therefor the double post.
This is so typical America for me. Seen many on movies
ReplyDeleteIt is...all you can see next is ma & pa, walking around and feeding the animals 😉
DeleteLove both captures, Nice Find. Once in awhile I see barns similar however never anyplace to park and shoot
ReplyDeleteCome to Tennessee - just pull off on their shoulder to park and boy, will they shoot!
DeleteTom what he said (John) holds true here as well when driving out in the country 😁😁
DeleteI like both, but the grunge of the foreground gives a nice textural contrast to the smooth side of the barn.
ReplyDeleteMind you I am not a grundge person...I like must stuff smooth and clean and yet...this one was appealing.
DeleteI can see why you stopped
ReplyDeleteToo clean and sparkly ..I wonder how often they wash/paint the place.
DeleteLooking for the cow!?
ReplyDeleteI tried to capture him all by himself, but he was too far away for the lens I had with me. He is laying down on the right of the barn out in the field.
