This was fascinating! I just took this challenge - 31 side by side AI vs real images. I won't tell you what my score was just yet. Let me know if you decide to do it and what you think.
Ha! apparently I am a guesser and quite honestly the title is quite fitting, because I did guess on several of them. They real are good Ai hard to tell. Thanks for sharing the quiz with us, I had fun.😊
It didn't seem that difficult for me - I got 26 correct and two I missed I initially had right and changed my mind. Some were so obvious to me, like over HDRed screen savers, but the real tells were smooth skin on people, fake text in books, food in spread not used in the presentation, no rough edges or too seamless landscapes and so on. They are pretty good for some things, I guess but the bottom line, in my opinion, is they have no "soul" when I see them.
Just did the test and scraped to Spotter. It was tough... The AI photos were really good!
