Sunday Nature By John August 20, 2023 Out in the afternoon heat - thanks, guys, for posing! Comments Tom SniderAugust 20, 2023 at 8:46 AMNice shots. I especially like the last one, with the sun through the butterfly's wings. Did you do these without a tripod?ReplyDeleteRepliesJohnAugust 20, 2023 at 9:38 AMThanks - yes, can't use a tripod with these guys because they move too fast. The swallowtails rarely stop fluttering their wings, even when feeding. Used that 55-300 with 35mm ext. tube and shot fast...really fast. ISO2000-3000 and 1/1000 or faster.DeleteRepliesReplyReplyThats Life with Tom and JoviAugust 20, 2023 at 9:10 AMLove these captures the last one is very cool with the lighting ReplyDeleteRepliesJohnAugust 20, 2023 at 9:38 AMThanks TomDeleteRepliesReplyReplyAbigail GossageAugust 21, 2023 at 6:04 AMBeautiful, JohnReplyDeleteRepliesJohnAugust 21, 2023 at 6:45 AMThank you AbigailDeleteRepliesReplyReplyAdd commentLoad more...
