Although well known for more than 500 years, little did I realise Seychelles would be such an interesting mix of European, Indian and African vibes. Enjoy pictures from my extended weekend on Mahé, the largest island of the archipelago. https://piotr.exposure.co/i-hate-mondays-i-love-seychelles
Camellia, John, Last time you mentioned the links do not open in new windows. I hope they do now.
The link works fine and what a good blog it is. Such lovely portraits and good information.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Peter. I try to come back to photoblogging. A long time ago, Camellia shared a link to the platform: www.exposure.co. I have been using for about a month. I like how simple it is, both to post and to read.
DeleteIt looks like a platform I consider to use.
DeleteI signed up for the most basic exposure.co option. No bells and whistles, just a simple user interface with very few design options. You can also disable all social media links. How refreshing!
DeleteExcellent Piotr! As always, you show and respect the spirit and soul of the people in whose lands you are a guest.
ReplyDeleteThanks, John. I love travelling and meeting people so much!
DeleteBeautiful portraits Piotr as always. The link worked well and the set up you have over there very refreshing and clean. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Camellia. More to come. I also hope finally I will have time to write about my Amtrak adventure.
DeleteNice capture happy people
ReplyDeleteThanks Joni, thanks Tom. The people were indeed very smiley. The country, however has quite a “socialist” feel. Sort of “yuck” for someone born in Soviet-occupied Poland. Once you scratch the surface, you also discover more shameful side of this well developed Indian Ocean paradise. Drug abuse is a real problem in Seychelles, well hidden from upmarket resorts but once you start talking to people… still, it is a lovely place to visit.
