I don't know about opening the shadows, John . . . I like how it emerges out of the darkness, without much context. It makes it more mysterious. It's a subjective thing, of course.
Cheers gents. I looked at a bit more detail in the picture but it brought some ferns in to play and then the image had a bit too much detail for the theme. In my view of course. As you say, subjective
I really like this one, Peter. It's a great composition, great dynamic range, both details and soft blurs, etc. Well done.
