Brilliant! You caught it at just the right angle of light so the color stood out perfectly. How you shoot that, yo? That makes my corn likker still sing a moonshine serenade!😂
How many drinks did you have...it aint even 9:00 am😉😁. i was patient and that was hard...this guy flew this way and that way and to be honest I clicked everytime he landed on something. I figure eventually I would get lucky........ and TADA!! 😉
That's one of my favorites of yours. Cool that you were able to catch it sitting still. That's a couple of sneaking-up-on-bugs pictures you've posted lately -- is that a technique you're working on? 😁
Tom, C_R_A_Z_Y people don't have techniques. They just go "oh look! CLICK!!" 😁 But in all seriourness, not really a technique but during the summer months ( which is the only time of the year that the tiny/fast critters come out) I try to snap, because I really love macro and closeups since it gives one a view that can't really be caught with the naked eye. Dragonflies are definitely on my list every year, because they are a challenge with their speed and lack of focus.Hence, it requires a patience on my part...the only techniqe I try to practice.😉
