This photo, taken some years ago,when my kids (now 25 and 30) would sit down and play board games with us. Now the phones have taken over, as well as our lives. We still get together but this photo represents much simpler (and in many ways more fun) times for us.

Sun Rising through the Trees over the Field

All of the elements of this photo, taken this week,  caught my eye. The framing of the sun just behind the pine tree. The sun just barely peeking through - the dew reflecting the sun shine. This one checked all the boxes for me. The only thing missing is awesome clouds - but you can't have it all. I missed the awesome clouds by about 10 minutes...but next time.
