Saturday Choice

I found Chris Masato 's YouTube channel rather interesting and so after a raining day, I used my cellphone to snap some photos in a 'controlled' environment. I had everything on auto mode except that I used the wide lens.

I honestly do not think I did well but I had enjoyed the experience!

  1. Since I don't speak French, and trying to read English cc over French cc is too much for me, I don't really know about Mr. Masato's "controlled environment", but that doesn't matter to me. I think the images show really clever composition and perspective and the subtle tones and colors are outstanding. The reflections are an added bonus. So, yeah, you blew it. Don't ever try that again until tomorrow.🤣

    1. Thanks John. The "controlled environment" comes from me and not from Chris Masato. He just shows how to shoot when using a cellphone, I thought it would be easier if I practiced with the same static background - controlled environment - and looking at reflection and perspective. It was interesting!

  2. I like the images. Whether it is what you wanted to achieve I don't know but they look good.

  3. I love the composition and the colors especially the ones with the reflections. Naturally I had to go look Mr. Masato up. He seems to be in the same league/category as the Belgian guy I follow Olivier Rocq putting out a videos almost once a day with some form of tutorial. It seems at first glance Masato is into the cinematic style of photography, which to my eyes you have achieved.
