I like #1 the best. The angle of the shot as well as the colors combined together somehow conveys a message of pain. The last photo is nice as well because it gives the illusion of a man standing upright while his reflection shows him bent over. Hope the reason you were at the hospital was for photography purposes only.
I like the first one best, too. Whatever he is going through, he's doing it alone. There are other people in the picture, but they're far away and not interested in him.
