This photo was taken earlier this year on a walk with my youngest in one of our local cities. She had cajoled me into joining her for a walk "in the city" and said it was safe. Cities are not my thing, for the most part, and usually not with other people. I find photography to be a solitary (albeit sometimes lonely) hobby and I don't feel comfortable in the city - I prefer the country. However, I did get some nice shots that day.

Predawn Sky and a Misty Pond
This photo was taken yesterday morning on my way to work. The bright blue of the sky and the pinks in clouds drew my attention. But when I saw the mist coming up from the pond, I had to stop and take some photos. I took a number of pictures, but this one seemed right for today. It was (and is) a peaceful scene despite my having to hurry to get to work on time...
