Wednesday Minimalism "Camellia's Version"

Many thanks to Camellia for pointing out some areas of improvement to my post today. While the "night light" setting for my monitor does, indeed, help with eye strain, it reeks havoc on editing, as I just found out. So here's something that I hope looks a little better...

  1. Interesting to see Camellia's observations. I like the image both before and after. On a personal level I think I would have cropped a bit off the bottom but I wouldn't dream of suggesting my version would be better, just different!

    1. I appreciate the feedback. I left the crop as is (it's the first thing I see in an image) so as to better balance the foreground and background and pull the eye in with the foreground blur.

  2. I had the same thoughts as Peter. I would also cropped off a little on the top, too. Altogether a lovely photo.

    1. Thanks! As I said to Peter, I am always conscious of leaving the same amount of space to top and bottom of na image for balance. The out-of-focus foreground was deliberate.☺️

  3. I had to go back and read what I wrote on the first photo ( memory not what it used to be). I totally understand the high speed and forgot about the hand shake hence I see the reasoning. As far has having night light setting, didn't know there was such a thing. I like the leaf a lot better now, without the harsh highlight and too me the front is not as distracting because of that change in the highlight. Thanks for the repost. "Carry on"😉
