It snowed last night, just enough to turn everything into the proverbial wonderland - we expect another 20 cms tonight so I guess we are really in winter. I went out to the park to see and indeed it was lovely.
The National Gallery through the laden trees
Pristine snow on the benches
Not doing a snow angel just sit ups...
Then out to the Alexandra Bridge which is closed to vehicular traffic for repairs but not pedestrians which offers the photographer an unique opportunity to shoot down the middle of the structure.
Although most people seem to grumble I like snow🙂
ReplyDeleteThe beginning of winter is always interesting, very tiresome by the end...
DeleteThe second one is especially nice. It could be on the front of a National Gallery publication.
ReplyDeleteThat bridge a photographers dream. They are talking about snow here also. Hope it is just a litlebit
ReplyDeleteUsually there are cars in this lane so I was very happy to be able to get centrally placed under the ironwork!
DeleteBeautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nancy. Now waiting for the "big" snowfall, might be freezing rain, ugh.
DeleteBeautiful captures as long as I dont experience it for real :-)
ReplyDeleteVery nice shots. Fortunately no snow here, yet. I do like the winter wonderland effect that comes with snow but I don't like its need to hang around for months on end.😉
