In the winter we actually seem to have more kinds of birds, not less. I guess some birds from up north fly south to Tennessee. The robins are around in force all year. Every evening they congregate for a while, take baths in the creek, and then head home. Robin Happy Hour.

DeleteBetter than several hundred crackles gathering - robins are not menacing.
