This was once a neighbor's Christmas tree. She planted it in the middle of a field a few Januarys ago. It's doing well! Picture taken a few minutes ago.
We're a little warmer than where John is (14 F right now), with 3 or 4 inches of snow and still falling. It may not impress Camellia, Abigail, Joseph, and you other Northerners, but it's special for us!
Do not need the white stuff.
ReplyDeleteHey, at least it's not the sleet-snow-sleet combo we usually get in Feb/Mar. This stuff is pretty dry for a change. But still piling up!☺️
ReplyDeleteIt was only a minute ago that you were in a heat waveπ
DeleteCorrect-a-mundo! On Thursday, it was 65° - welcome to the Mid-South!!π€£
DeleteAh yes, 65 degrees! I remember it well!
DeleteNice Tom, I like a bit of snow but we rarely get any in our little corner. Further north are expecting it but we just have cold at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThe tree impressed me...your weather not so much. -7 F was our temperature @ 8 in the morning. It warmed up quite a bit by noon.....2 F. Looking forward to a heat wave for today and through Thursday going to get up to 24 F...bring out the swimming suits π. It's time to pack my bags and leave.πΌπΌπΌ
ReplyDeleteHave fun in your swimming suit! It was 6 F when I got up this morning, but I know that seems puny to you. We can't compete with you on cold or snow, but consider this: the 10-day forecast thinks it's going to be 61 F here, a week from tomorrow. Sounds pleasant, doesn't it? π
DeleteNice capture all we got was ice
