Winter has come! What a nice way to end the day in the office: a 4-mile walk back home, to my flat in Euskirchen where I spent weekdays.
We have recently had minus twenty degrees in Warsaw, Poland, and down to minus ten in the western part of Germany. Another reason for the media to panic and paint a grim picture of global warming. Another reason for everyone else to enjoy sunny winter and life in general.
Very nice. Just ignore the media, always so sensationalist!
ReplyDeleteYou bet, Peter. We’d better enjoy beauty around us.
DeleteBeautiful shots. As Peter said ignor the media. We have the same thing here. If people's memories weren't so short they would remember that last year and the year before and the year before that and..... we had these cold spells as well. After all it is winter 😉
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot, Camellia. There is so much beauty in every season. While I would not cycle around Europe in January, I do think of buying an Interrail ticket and check on all snowy destinations such a Finland, Sweden, Norway…
DeleteNice captures looks very cold
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tom. Thanks, Jovi. Actually, it was not very cold, perhaps minus three degrees Celsius. Wonderful sunset walkies.
DeleteThose are all beautiful shots, Piotr! I'm not a big fan of 4-mile walks home in frigid weather, however.
ReplyDeleteHi Tom. Well, walking in frigid weather and snapping pics… let’s think of it as our commitment to art 😁.
ReplyDeleteLove this set. Now I feel cold. We had 1 day of snow and if I had to believe the media, the end of the world was coming.
ReplyDeleteIt was a wonderful week, even though I could not cycle. A real January.
