This is done manually. I play with the color mixer in Lightroom using the mask. Isolate the character from the background and then push and pull the color levers to my liking. I've been using the color mixer more and more because there is so much one can do (better) than just playing with the saturation and vibrance levers.
The guy caught my eye innitially, then the more I looke at the colored photo the more I wanted him to be the center of attention and not blend with the background, hence the selective colors.
Really nice! This is a cool effect. Do you do this by manually creating a mask, or is it one of those new-fangled AI things?
