We've been traveling around, while in Florida, visiting areas we had not been before.
One of the places we visited was this little "subdivision" of Orlando, with a population of approximately 50,000 people.
It is one of those charming areas that has yet to be overpriced and overvalued. Two hundred and seventy residential and commercial properties make up this 116 acre city.
Often refered to as modern- day Mayberry by its residents, Winter Garden exudes warmth and energy.

ReplyDeleteYup, still not too touristic.
DeleteThanks for the tour! It's an interesting and pretty place.
ReplyDelete😉😉
DeleteWhat a cool place. And you know what, Camellia? New urban design in Uzbekistan reminds me of the USA and the area you show in your post. It is just that the buildings look like little madrasahs or karavanserais here.
ReplyDeleteI know that word "karavanserais" very well. My grandmother used to say it in a deroggatory manner when she was angry at her relatives that visited......." What do they think this place is .....a karavanserais?? Chort!! All in farsi except the last two words. And that is how we learned to speak the languages 😉😂
DeleteChort! That is an old-fashioned Polish name for a devil 🙂.
