We took a bus trip to Washington DC yesterday to try to capture the Cherry Blossoms. It rained most of the day and we missed the peak of the cherry blossoms. Well, a day of vacation, even in the rain, is not bad. I took advantage of the time by capturing what I could and this view of the flowering trees downtown is my nature shot today.
Sunset Sky Beyond the Hills

I took this photo last weekend. I loved the sunset colors and the view of the blue hills in the far distance. I pulled out my longest lens and tried to capture the details of the clouds and managed to get the hills and the last glimpse of the sun behind a nearer tree. I think one was a successful endeavor!

Blooming Trees
