Willy Vanderperre, an exhibition

Today not had to work and also my litle girl was home. She already wanted to go the MOMU for a while. The MOMU is the fashion museum and fashion school of Antwerp. This institute has a great name in the world of fashion and students of all over the world come to study here.

Now there is an extra expo from Willy Vandenperre, a fashion photographer with some name. He worked for Dior, Prada, Calvin klein and most of the big magazines. He worked long time with his designer friend Raf  Simons who worked for many of the big houses.

He loves simplicity in his works and tends to put the subject in the spotlight.

Sadly the exhibition room had really bad lighting and some photos stood not out, like they could have. Maybe done on purpose.
For some photos you couild not take enough distance to view them.

Some photos were really fine art prints, while others just were prints hanged on the wal with some tape. But it all fitted together well.

All the photos in this expo were from his official work, not his free work.

Picture taken on my cellphone Samsung S20 and no edit on them.
For exhibitions a cellphone works very well.

  1. Interesting exhibition. Some photos are really way out there. I agree there are times that the cellphone does a much better job than the bulky camera with no required edits.
