    1. Cape Perpetua Scenic Area the structure was built by the CCC’s in the 1930s, you can see about 70 miles out to sea from here, and therefore it was used as an observation post during WWII, complete with a coastal defense gun.

  4. Like Peter said, the view looks great, and an interesting little building! Where is it? Around here, a little old building with a great view is often an old Civil War observation post.
