Gateway Arch from a Different Angle
Images Exposed
Daily Photo Challenge
Thursday Architecture
I took this photo on our last trip to St. Louis, Missouri to visit my sister. As I recall, I had a business conference there at the same time. We went to visit the Gateway Arch, as we usually do, when we're there, but I always want to get a different take, or angle, when photographing the Arch. From a low vantage point, this was the widest view I could get. I thought the image keep-worthy, but this is the first time I've posted it anywhere.
Storm Coming in at Sunset
Photo of the Day 193/366
When I left our martial arts school last evening, the clouds were gathering all around and my thoughts were to get home before the storms arrived. Very close to home, I saw that faint orange glow at the horizon as the sun tried to come through. I stopped, despite the gathering storm, and captured this image as the rains were coming.

That's the perfect POV for that arch. Nice shot!
