  2. I am going to answer all questions here. This fantastic looking architecture is located in Springfield, Illinois. It is called the Chiara Center and at one time was owned by the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis. It opened up in 1917 as TB saniturium. Within those walls there is the most beautiful church and chapel. Throughout the years the place has been used for various religious gatherings. It also houses the nuns that used to work at St. John's Hospital here in town. The property was put up for sale in 2021 and now it is in the process of being turned into the San Damiano College for the Trades, with its doors opening up to the public in 2025. The hope is to teach trade skills and to award and Associate Degree to all who apply and go through the training.
