I had that thought at the time. I'd been watching the reflection of those people for a few minutes, and it was definitely like watching ghosts. The coffee shop had big windows on the other side of the room, so it was well lit. We were sitting on the other side of the room, next to a window looking into a hallway which was also well lit. So looking into the hallway there were ghost images of people in the coffee shop reflected in the window pane.
