The person who thought adding analogous colors to the daily challenge was a good idea, needs a swift kick in the derrier! I spend half the week looking for analogous colors around me and fretting.
Btw is it me or......there are a lot more orange/red/yellow colors out there than any other color?
There is a very sound biological reason for the predominance of red, orange & yellow colors. Accessory pigments, which help plants capture light in the blue-green and blue regions of the spectrum, reflect those colors. It's also why leaves, in autumn, tend to be those colors as the chloroplasts (green) begin to fade out.π
