Well we have opened up the challenge to just colors. That does not mean you have to give up the study of colors in photography.
It is a very interesting subject that can improve your skills.
This photo is an example of Complementary colors. That means they sit opposite of eachother on a standard colorwheel. While analogous colors give you a more soft, calming colorscheme. complementary colors seem to give a higher contrast between the colors, can be used for a better definition of a subject or isolation of a color.
I also have seen that many use the system of colors in their photos, without realizing they use it. It is when we start thinking about it, that many struggle.
We are dabling in this area of the colorwheel with this photo. Not fully opposit but coming close to it.
