Wednesday: Design

Shopping Mall Before it Closed

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Wednesday Design: This photo was taken almost a decade ago. Our local shopping mall was in declinee, and nearing the end of it's life. We were able to visit it before the doors closed for good and with few stores open, the place was empty and that allowed me to get this shot.  Within a month, it was gone. It has been replaced by a plaza with afew anchor stores. It's not the same, though.

  1. That was a great opportunity for you to take this cool shot. Among other things, I like how those blue-ish tiles in the foreground catch the eye a bit, and make a good starting point for the eye to travel deeper into the scene.
