The Impressions of Monet in a display of lights and paintings.

The lady was sitting on cushions - to make it look like rocks - in a painting entitled 'Night at the Lily Pond'. Just imagine a large poster and various different coloured lights to create an atmosphere of the night. It was well done.

There were chairs and cushions scattered on the floor and soft ambience music were played. Was I tempted to sit on those cushions? Oh yesss ... but I was afraid I might find myself taking a nap what with the air-conditioning and soft music ....
It was so relaxing... dare I say- Like in a spa??? Well, I said it :)

Georges Seurat and Paul Signac had developed the Pointillist technique.

  1. These lights and painting are becoming more and more popular around the different hemispheres. My favorite capture of yours is #2.

    1. Yes, it seems so. However the positive point is that it helps to introduce the grand masters without the high brows... Thank you, Camellia

    1. My favourite, too. I waited for her to 'settle down' as she was trying to get a good position as her friend shot the photo. I took the opportunity to capture her, too. Thanks, Peter.
