    1. Thank you, Peter. Alsace and Lorraine are fascinating areas: amazing history, lovely nature, excellent facilities for cyclists.

If June is not too hot, I will do come cycling in Central Europe, where I come from, where I live πŸ™‚ Another fascinating area with countless cycling routes.

  2. Another fantastic trip. I clicked on each individual photo to get the full beauty. Loved that boat ride with that huge cushy sofa πŸ˜‰. Curious....seeing those two other cyclists in your photo....did you travel with them or were you on your own?

    1. Hi Camellia, it was very nice, indeed. Four days, 470 kms, a bit of Germany, a bit of France.

Oh yeah, the boat was cool. You can travel on such a sofa all the way from the North Sea to the Meaditerranean, along the rivers and canals.

I travelled alone. Sometime I wait for cyclists to appear in my picture. It often adds nice colour and a bit of action to the scenes that otherwise would be rather bland and boring.

    2. Camellia, correction: of course I did not travel alone. SapuΕ› and Doudou pedalled all the way. I relaxed and enjoyed the view. πŸ™‚

    1. It was a very nice trip. Oh yeah, there are old castles everywhere here. Europe’s largest medieval is in Malbork, Poland. You can fool around its amazing stairways and chambers for the whole day. It was destroyed during WWII (like all of Poland) but it is so meticulously restored. Great experience and great fun.
