Wednesday - Design


We took a trip last week and stayed in a great classic hotel.  Across the street was a modern high-rise hotel with reflective glass on the sides.  This is a shot of the reflection of our hotel in the glass front of the hotel across the street, taken through the window of our hotel room.  Make sense?

Also, does anyone know the name of the optical illusion that occurs at the intersections of the window frame?

  1. I think I found the answer to your question with the help of a "friend"...is it called Hermann Grid illusion? I love the framing of this photo and it's such a perfect reflection, colors, texture, and lines what else can one ask of a beautiful capture.
