Monday Fill-the-Frame: As we were walking up from the water yesterday, my wife noted how pretty this tree was. It is, we think, a crabapple tree, but it is an older tree stunted, I'm sure, from the nearby salt water. In any case, these new branches getting started in the old trunk caught my eye and I filled the frame with them.

I'm a fan. The tree trunk has great colors and textures, and the bright colors of the leaves really pop out.
