  1. Nancy, these are all fabulous. All three images are so clear and sharp. The plant is beautiful. The images of the fly and the dragonfly are so cool - how did you manage to catch those?

    2. Tom, I have a Panasonic Lumix G9. The camera settings for the fly was : iso 200; f/4; 1/1000. The dragonfly : iso 400 and the rest the same. I would have created and stored the settings in the camera so all I have to do is just shoot the photos in burst mode. I have also noticed that I stay very still and quiet and at the same time, unconsciously holding my breath (I don't know why??!!). This is what I usually do .... it works well for me most of the time.

    1. Thank you, Piotr. Please refer to my reply to Tom Snider for the camera settings. The fly is always my go to insect when I have no other insects to shoot. It is a common insect that could be found easily. But they do fly off very quickly!
