Hi Tom, hi Jovi, Hahaha, the first picture featured one of my favourite childhood tastes: banana. It was Bananko, a Yugoslavian brand of chocolate covered banana flavoured marshmallow (sounds horribly sweet, doesn’t it?). They sell it now as banana-shaped ice-cream in Croatia and Slovenia. Paradise is back.
Hi Camellia, Thanks a lot. I tried with different flavours/colours until I found this one. This is the advantage of my cycling trips: I burn so many calories that I can stuff myself with sweets & Co. without any consequences.
Yes, this is a good old Neapolitan, the taste of childhood and all-time classic. I also remember cassata from the 1970s Poland. This ice-cream desert comes from Sicily but it is not so easy to get it in EU now.
When I go on cycling vacation, I do 100 kms average per day. With many calories burnt, I can stuff myself with ice-cream every day without the risk in putting on weight .
haha Cool capture looks like a commercial

DeleteHowever tasty Bananko was, the strawberry-vanilla-chocolate ice-cream looked better against the Alps in the background 🙂.
DeleteI agree with Tom, cool capture and a great pose for a commercial.

DeleteIs that a Neapolitan (vanilla, strawberry & chocolate) ice cream bar? How unusual!
