This art piece (?) hangs in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.  I suppose these characters represent country music stars from the past, but I don't know who.  They're enormous (the larger one's about 8 feet tall) and frankly a little terrifying!

After some research, I've determined that these are cardboard sculptures by the artist Wayne White.  They depict the 1950's country music duo the Louvin Brothers.  The whole shebang is about 16 feet tall and 16 feet wide.   Full view at https://www.artsy.net/artwork/wayne-white-the-louvin-brothers .

  1. They remind me of the characters Kelly Boesch creates in her Ai art. What are they made of and are they hung by strings?

    1. They're hung by wires in a stairwell. I just added in the description that the larger one is much larger than life size, and 3-dimensional. I just looked up Kelly Boesch's work, and it's beautiful. Interesting mix of peaceful paintings and really inventive stuff.
