I met Bachus

 Last weekend we went back to Germany. To our favourite wine village Alken on the Moselle.

That weekend it was the Winzerfest or Winefeast. Local winefarmers opened the doors and made special food and you could taste, yes you got it, wine.

At one of the winehouses, we met Bachus, the god of wine and good times. Here in the photo you can see him with the wine Queen from last year. Celina I.

We had a great time this weekend, a bit heavy on the partyside. But hey you only live onces.

By the way this guy comes from Belgium. There is a brotherband between the villages of Alken in Germany and Alken Belgium.

When we left the car was half full with boxes of wine. So we can last untill next year when we go back.

By mistake I activated a filter in my camera, so you got a softer outside on the photos. Or maybe the wine had something to do with it.
