I discovered recently that Affinity Photo is now free. This may be old news to some of you, but I thought everyone should know about it.
Since November, all Affinity software, including their photo editing app, is permanently free. It's been purchased by Canva, and now the three original Affinity apps (Designer, Photo, and Publisher) have been bundled into a single product called Affinity 3. The three components are now called Vector, Pixel, and Layout. You can switch seamlessly between them while working on a project.
I stumbled on this because I was thinking of making an ebook of photos, and Affinity Publisher had been recommended as an inexpensive choice. Lo and behold, it was even less expensive than it used to be!

Thanks for the info. Will check it out
ReplyDeleteYou can never have enough editing apps. Adding this to my collection. Thanks for the heads up.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info
ReplyDeleteI've had Affinity for several years and even this new version is more cumbersome, for me, than ON1 Photo Raw. But, it's nice to play with sometimes.
