Of course you cannot be in Scotland and not take advantage of the various pubs! We found refuge from the rain in locals and big pubs alike...
The Last Drop in Edinburgh is situated in the Grassmarket of Edinburgh which was in addition to being a market was also the site for public hangings. The name could refer to the hangings or to the last drop in your glass. Take your pick.😃
Although this little pub was next door to Glasgow's busy railway station it remains very much the "local".
The larger glitzy pubs rejoice in the sculptural Guiness Harps on their bars...
