Saturday Nature: This photo was taken at my father-in-laws' home a few years ago. The cardinal was perched on his window sill. The feeder was above and I don't know if this one (definitely a male) was waiting his turn or standing watch - but that brief moment made for a nice photo.

I find the cardinals to be one of the prettiest birds out there.
