Here's what I mean by adding effects and local treatments or styling an image. To this edited image I added an interesting background, masked out the center and put a sunlight effect in the upper right corner. Nice example of an edit. Well done
ReplyDeleteThanks my friend.
DeleteWonderful capture and edits
ReplyDeleteThank you for always teaching! You always make very artistic style creations. Love them. It’s very helpful to me to actually see what’s possible.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to returning to ON1 2025 (I miss the “Big Softy” vignette), but for now I’m “forbidden” to use that program by my tyrannical son. (This is somewhat of a hostage situation). The kid insists I must learn to use only global light/color edits (absolutely no masking allowed, mom!), and I must do so on GIMP. I’m starting to find my way through the forest.
If I send out a smoke signal S.O.S., you’ll know why.
Onward and upward.
Love the edited one. While I like the original because of the way you framed it, I super like the edited one because of the softness.
ReplyDeleteThanks! With thousands of "straight" flower images, I now enjoy creating the more artistic version of them. ☺️
